Russia out of the current global crisis intensified. This was declared vice-president of the World Bank”s Europe and Central Asia, Philip Le Wairua and chief economist of the regional offices Indermit Gill.

According to ITAR-TASS , I. Gill noted that in terms of its results for the current crisis in Russia is different from the shocks 2000-2001, “as day from night.” &d61quot;In past crises, Russia became weak and out of it even weaker. In the present – Russia is now strong, and comes out of it even harder,” – he said.

In turn, F. Wairua noted that Moscow has a “clear path” to overcome the consequences of the crisis in the financial and budgetary terms. He recalled that Russia had just “extremely well” placed its Eurobonds, which was an additional “vote of confidence by the markets”.
