As the channel Vesti , a book of memoirs My brothers Fidel and Raul: The Secret History was written by H. Castro in collaboration with a Mexican journalist Mary Collins. As she told the journalist, sister Castro decided to write his memoirs a decade ago, but the idea has remained unrealized.

In 2009, Juanita decided that the time has come to turn this idea into a book. It so happened that I – and her friend, and a journalist, so I had the privilege to talk about her life – M. Collins.

According to H. Castro, after the 1959 revolution she supported the brothers, but later drifted away from them, when Cuba began shooting the opposition. After the break with the Castro brothers hid the opposition politicians and helped them. At present, H. Castro lives in the U.S. city of Miami.
