New York, 18 may (EFE) .- not have medical coverage or loss in this time of economic crisis is the biggest concern for Latinos, according to the results of A survey made public today.

The majority of Hispanics agree that the health of the whole family is important, but the parents give priority to their children, which placed first ( 61 per cent), followed by housing (20 percent), food and supplies (7 percent) and their health, in fifth place.

According to the survey, 45 per percent of Hispanics are concerned about their ability to provide health care, medication and treatment for themselves and their families.

The survey interviewed 2186 adults in the U.S., of which 328 were Latino, and was commissioned by the pharmaceutical Boehringer Ingelheim to assess the views and concerns of citizens regarding access to medical care.
