Russia and South Korea are ready to facilitate talks on North Korea – Ministry of Foreign Affairs
MOSCOW, April 25 – RIA Novosti. Moscow and Seoul are prepared to make additional efforts to resume six-party talks on North Korea issue, reported on Saturday Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
DPRK announced closure of the six-party talks on 14 April, following a statement by the UN Security Council for the Korean launch satellite. In the negotiations that took place in 2003, was attended by Russia, United States, China, North Korea, South Korea and Japan.

The heads of foreign ministries of both countries exchanged views on the situation in the region, established after the DPRK's missile launch, called for additional efforts to resume six-negotiation process and implementation of all its parties of their obligations. It also discussed prospects of development of Russian-South Korean relations, including the schedule of upcoming exchanges and contacts, – said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
